Prepare to be challenged. The first time I listened to Let You Go the gauntlet was thrown down to listen again. The industrial tinged verses are so incongruent compared to the majority of songs (actually all of them) released this week that it was a bit of a culture shock. However, when the chorus arrives it conjures a sense of self-realisation that would not be present without the starkly constructed verses.
Sometimes using a minor key just isn't sufficient to create the right mood and Laura Bettinson aka Dimbleby & Capper has gone that extra mile to give Let You Go full emotional impact.
